You can get the FTP program by downloading it for free at www.download.com [ search for WS-FTP LE ]

Ok once u downlaod and install the FTP program
OPEN IT
[click to view]
It should look like the pic above.
Host/ Name Address:       yoursite.com
Username:           username@yoursite.com
Password:           Desired password
Click OK
now this will open

You see the WWW folder, click on that



ok now do you see the INDEX.HTML file well dats where your site will show up. [you might not see the index.html file]
All you do is make your a HTML document with all your codes and then save it as an INDEX.HTML file


Now look on the LEFT side of the FTP Program in that box is your COMPUTER CONTENT use the GREEN ARROW on the top upper left hand corner to Navigate through your computer's C DRIVE and find the INDEX.HTML file that you just saved.
Now trasfer it across

Just CLick the arrow pointing to the RIGHT
And there you go you, Now open up ur SITE www.yourdomain.com and make sure you did it right.

Qestion     I saved a pic what is its URL?
Answer     Your pic's url will be "http://www.yourdomain.com/yourpic.gif"

Qestion     I made a PIC folder what is the URL now?
Answer     Now the URL will change it will now be "http://www.yourdomain.com/pic/yourpic.gif"

Qestion     I saved a Links HTML document what is its URL?
Answer     Same as a pic "http://www.yourdomain.com/links.html"

Qestion     I made a LINK folder now what will be the link url?
Answer     Same as the pic "http://www.yourdomain.com/link/links.html"
